On Monday 28th May, well-respected adventure racer, hill runner and author, Moire O’Sullivan, set a new clockwise female record of 21 hours 24 minutes, lowered the clockwise record by 42 minutes.

Mixed Group Complete the Round
On Saturday 12th May a mixed group of Irish runners (Nigel McKernan, Denis Carrigan, Linda O’Connor, Robbie Heffernan) completed a successful clockwise round in 22:06. In the process, Linda has lowered the female record from Jackie Toal’s 2016 time of 22:17.

2017 Certificate Presentation
The annual member’s certificate presentation took place at last weekend’s excellent Mourne Mountain Marathon. The certificates were presented by Madeline Rankin.
